Who We Are
Pressler Petroleum Consultants, Inc. was established in 1985 by Townes G. Pressler. The firm's original focus was the evaluation of oil and gas properties for estate tax purposes. This scope quickly grew to include a variety of engineering and economic evaluation applications. Today, the consultancy includes areas of project feasibility and management of oil, gas and mineral interests and field studies while maintaining an emphasis on economic and reserve evaluations.

Our group consists of five engineers, a geoscientist, a landman and technical support staff. Our clients include oil and gas companies (field studies, SEC reserve reports, property appraisals), banks (oil and gas asset evaluation for collateral purposes), trust companies (review of drilling/workover proposals, review and assist in negotiation of agreements and leases), major oilfield service companies (evaluating debt security) and law firms (evaluating estates, bankruptcy consulting and expert witness testimony).
